What is Community Watch?
Most people are not in the position to protect their homes and property 100 percent of the time.
Business, shopping, trips, vacations, or just an evening out will leave homes and property unattended and vulnerable
to crime.
The essentials element of the Community Watch Program is securing the help of your neighbors
in reporting unusual or suspicious incidents as well as any crimes that may occur in their view. In addition, Community
Watch includes informing every one of good security practices, marking and listing property, and an up to date telephone
notification system.
The security steps you and your neighbors take as a group are just as important as the things
you do individually. Criminals as opportunistic - do not give them an opportunity to commit crime. Remember the best
crime prevention tool is a GOOD NEIGHBOR!
